Is your BIOS up to date ? Did you install the drivers from the ASUS website ? Are you using Displayport or HDMI ?

A yellow LED on that board (is this your board?) should be the DRAM LED. That board also has an error code display. Is there anything on that?

Bios is updated drivers for the 2080 is but I can’t do anything with the 4090 to see what I’m doing or if it’s really working if that makes sense. And I’m using the display port

Is the yellow LED you're referring indeed the DRAM error LED?

Some boards are not outputting signal if only a Displayport is used. If you can use the HDMI (you can even use a TV) to test if you get a signal that way. I remember seeing a fix for the Displayport problem. I just can't remember where this was. I'll try finding it back.

Tried the HDMI as well nothing it’s super weird I can plug in the two other cards no problem and have display but the bigger card won’t could it be the monitor? I normally use 3 omen 27 inch monitors from like 5 years ago but I don’t see how that would make it work differently

Your CPU model isn't mentioned... what model is it?

Does the 4090 have any lights or do the fans spin at any point?

Regardless, based off of the screwy behavior you've mentioned:

  • Clear the CMOS
  • Unplug the computer completely
  • Install the 4090 and then power it up

There is approximately a 117% chance I edited my post.

Does the system boot with both the 1080 and 4090 installed together? If the 1080 can output video you can see if the 4090 is even detected in device manager.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Double check the power connections for the 4 PCI cables. If you have a modular power supply maybe try swapping ports around or try the 1080 and make sure it can be powered by all 4 PCI cables.

I have not tried that yet that would be a good try I’ll update later today
