San Diego tech nerds, wanna see some cool robots?

Hopefully the appropriate place to post this.

 

IF you like tech applied to robotics, come checkout the 2023 RoboSub Competition. Teams from 30 universities come from around the world to compete with autonomous submarine robots. Think Darpa competition but more wet. I've already seen a few 4090s used for AI model training and Nvidia jetson boards galore. Open to the public starting today through Sunday. The teams love to talk about how there robots work to spectators that walk around and ask questions.

 

There's at least two of us event organizers running around wearing an LTT backpack; myself being one of them. So say hi if you find us!

OK a few more. Last weekend to visit! I've counted 5 backpacks and 2 screwdrivers spotted!
