why? because he doesn't know how it works himself?

thing is i cant really help u, all u needed to do was win + p > duplicate.

i can only assume you did some additional things that made it not work.

You need to switch primary display, set different resolution, move displays around on the extended canvas and then select clone instead of extended.

If that doesn't work, switch to Linux.

What type of GPU are you running?

AMD and Nvidia have control panels where you can select specific features for extending or duplicating displays.

Right Click desktop > Show more options > Display Settings

Here is the function on how it should normally work in Windows 11, notice how I have duplicate option once clicking on the current option I have set (Extend these displays)

go back to windows 10, right click on the desktop and go display settings, there should be an option where you select duplicate displays. if you end up fixing this, you should go in your dads bathroom and take a shit in the toilet water tank and dont say nothing about it. and see what the reactions is and tell us about it.

ddu is a program that uninstalls your display driver compleatly

first, download ddu and latest copy of your display driver.

second, run DDU

restart,

install display driver, avoid gforce experience. trust, you dont want to experience it.

i installed ddu then ran it and installed the drivers without GeForce experience and nothing changed. same thing as before.

when u used the ddu did u select the options to delete everything? i think there is an option like that.  i dont know man if this doesn't work you might need to format. also the fact that your pops is mad at you for this is kinda not cool. you should tell him to buy you a new computer or else your gonna tell your mom that he is having an affair with another man. if you want i can even call your house pretending to be that man and get your parents divorced.

I think you would need to have the TV added into device manager as an available screen as the Cast function in windows might not allow this option?

I was able to do it on my LG TV trying to reproduce your issue.

I used Windows Cast Display - Selected my TV.

Once it extended my display, I was able to duplicate my displays.

On my LG TV I had to go to Input > Home Dashboard first.

I dont know what LG OS Version you have, but this was how it worked for me.

once u press win+p u should see duplicate display. i have one display and i still see it. if you dont see it, something is up most probably a software issue. probably video card driver. or windows itself. what is that charter spectrum connected to hdmi. try to only connect your monitors and try to duplicate it then.
