"The All* WOOD Gaming Setup!"
*contains only 10% wood

That keyboard was the only thing that could reasonably be called wooden. Everything else was just wood accent pieces. I want to see a fully wooden case, with wood case fans.

In the late 90s as a 10-year-old kid I used to dream about building a concealed PC and multimedia setup into a desk (the MDF desk effectively being the case), because back then I liked my spaces tidy...

...there were going to be VHS drives... 🤣

This post has been ninja-edited while you weren't looking.

I'm a used parts bottom feeder.  Your loss is my gain.

I like people who tell good RGB jokes.

The EK lignum edition is probably a reference to lignum vitae, a type of hardwood that sinks in water

My brother makes custom bullwhips, and I commissioned one made out lignum vitae!

I "wood" love to know what other pieces were used for the keyboard! I might just have to get those 300 dollar keycaps.

I'm fully convinced that LTT decided to make this happen solely because of this, the world's first wooden transistor.

I just created a "wooden pc" a few months ago! although it's not as well done as the LTT one.

and sadly, i've installed my software, some games, played once and haven't touched it since XD

The keyboard is very geeky. You can set it that when you press a key the key will light up and it will stay lit up for a second. It's a very cool functionality which looks really nice, but it's probably not the best for live streaming when inputting passwords (it can be turned off)

People don't know this (although it's briefly mentioned on Wiki), but Edvard, the founder of EK actually has background in woodworking. Given how wood related industry is in a shitter in our country for many many years now, I can understand why he opted to go in different direction, but he's now returning to his roots with wooden accents on his water blocks.

Well, the guts are from a Wooting 60HE, but the wood casing around it was apparently custom machined by one of our engineers.

They don't appear to be around this morning, but I'll follow up with more info if I'm able to get any!

damn, who in the office was lucky enough to swipe that keyboard after? with the in-house work that thing has to have around 1-1.5k into it.
