Need help with 4070 power connection

Im using the msi 4070 with a corsair rm850 pcie power cable. Is this how it’s supposed to be plugged in? With the extra unused connection just tucked away?

The keying is fine but you'll definitely get dissed on by Reddit for that cable management decision.
