Choosing a new case

Jajo

Hi

ive wanted to get a new case for mu build. I was thinking of these two setups:

-NZXT H7 flow with 6x Arctic P14 RGB fans

-Fractal Meshify 2 with 3x Arctic P14 RGB on the front and 3x stock Fractals on the back

The fractal would come out like 50$ cheaper because i wouldnt have to spend on the fan hub and stuff like that. Are the Fractals pwm controlled? What would you choose? (For performance of course)

So your budget for the case is ~$130 US (not including fans)? Are you going for raw cooling performance, looks or a blend of both?

I would go for this case Lian Li LANCOOL III RGB ATX Mid Tower Case (LANCOOL 3R-X) - PCPartPicker and add three top fans if you really want

I enjoy NZXTs style a lot but Fractal is great cooling and they come with a lot of nice touches like sound padding grommets for drive mounts etc. I feel like they go for quality over looking designer. NZXT were some of my first cases but today my server sits in a Fractal case and I jumped in the O11 trend early for my desktop as it's nice middle ground of form and function but it's huge. Meshify is probably the better choice here.

Asus Crosshair VIII Dark Hero | 32GB G.Skill Trident Z @ 3733C14

Zotac 4070 Ti Trinity OC @ 3060/1495 | WD SN850, SN850X, SN770

Seasonic Vertex GX-1000 | Fractal Torrent Compact RGB, Many CFM's

3 PWM header and 6 12V. Its not the same as the Torrent version of the Nexus that comes with all PWM headers. But at this budget...

...Id pay for Fractal Design Torrent or Lian Li Lancool 216 instead. For 216 you would still have spare budget to fill the top with Arctic P14.
