Moving computer cases is not a great experience, even if you have a car. Get the laptop.

I typically enjoy a small portable build when possible, particularly if you are gonna for sure be using it around a desk or otherwise decent work surface. The laptop becomes a must when its name comes into play, and you literally have to use it in your lap. Then the small desktop will be miserable to use. Small desktop has the benefit of being very cute.

It's out of stock everywhere, pre-ordered when other people pre-ordered if I don't get it in couple of days next batch will be shipped in September which is too late

Literally no other choice, basically wanted to stick lots of RAM into that Titan and 3x NVMes but since the Raider has worse cooling and less expansion etc it's not worth spending £3.5K on that one if that portable desktop with delidded 13900KS would destroy it

That is the natural advantage of course. A nice little power house, and better repairability to boot. I lean more towards these mobile workstations for power users in general, I made a video editing workstation with my classic fave case and it was very satisfactory for the client. Backpack-portable was the main draw.

This one would be backpack portable and I don't go on trains because I have a car, and if I do fly I can check it in as my personal luggage with no issues

 

Literally I pre-ordered that laptop and now it says out of stock and is not searchable on that website, so if they decide to refund me I will have no other option to go with the SFF.

 

I can technically order it from US Newegg but I will only get 1 year warranty, but I do get 128GB RAM right away in it and 4TB NVMe, and that warranty is not expandable you see. Hence why I'm making this thread to see what people think about that SFF. Screen would be a decent 17'3 inch Asus 1080p 240Hz one so it's not too bad, even though laptop one is better, the trade-off is that the hardware inside the PC is faster
