GPU Detection Issue with Ryzen 5 7600 and ASUS B650 PLUS Motherboard

And I was just going to recommend the VBios update...

Hello everyone,

I recently upgrade my computer with the following specifications:

  • CPU: Ryzen 5 7600
  • Motherboard: ASUS B650 PLUS
  • BIOS: Version 1616 (latest)
  • GPU: GTX 970
  • RAM: Kingston FURY Beast Black EXPO DDR5 16GB (2x8GB) 5600MT/s DDR5 CL36 DIMM
  • Case: Corsair 4000D
  • PSU: EVGA 600 BR, 80+ BRONZE 600W

I'm experiencing a specific issue: when I start my computer, the GPU (GTX 970) is not detected by the BIOS and the system defaults to the integrated GPU  instead, but Windows recognize the GPU after.

If I disable the integrated GPU in the BIOS, I lose the display during the BIOS startup phase. However, Windows still manages to boot. The problem is that I no longer have access to the BIOS settings due to this black screen on startup.

For your information, I'm running Windows 10, 64 bit.

I tried rebooting several times, checked that all my drivers are up-to-date, but the problem persists. I managed to regain access to the BIOS settings by removing the CMOS battery to reset the parameters.

Would anyone have advice or solutions to suggest to resolve this GPU detection issue with the BIOS?

Thank you in advance for your help.

EDIT :
sorry for this post i found issue is that i have screen with display port > 1.2 and older GPU need bios update : https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/nv-uefi-update-x64/
