LTT Screwdriver bit question

Go to solution Solved by Skipple,

Hello! I have the LTT Screwdriver and a Framework Laptop. If you have a Framework, you know there is a weird 6-pointed screw used all around on it. What bit set do I need to buy for the screwdriver to be able to to maintenance on Frameworks with it? I am pretty sure it would be the Torx set, but it may be the Specialty set. I just want to buy the right thing. Thank you!

Thank you!

If you get a micro bit kit like from iFixit, they'll usually come with a 1/4" adapter that you can use with the LTT screwdriver. I basically don't use my iFixit kit's driver anymore after getting the LTT driver but still regularly whip it out to use the bits. Sometimes you need the smaller driver though for tight spaces and/or the articulating extension.

iFixit Pro Tech Toolkit IF145-307-4 - Best Buy You pay a little bit more but get a lot more tools for electronics, basically a one time purchase for most things you may need.
