7900XTX is definitely the better bet.

Have you tried turning it off and on again? Maybe Restart it?

What are the rest of your specs (cpu, psu, ram) and what games exactly?

However, between the two the 7900 xtx is the best

I'd get this one. Cheaper than MSRP and it has an amazing cooler. The stock cooler on AMD's new cards is trash

VRAM, too.  And it doesn't need a PSU adapter.

Speaking of which, what model PSU do you have currently?  If it's a decent 850w you should be fine, otherwise the Leadex III 850w or MWE V2 850w are probably the best deals for PSU's right now.  Then again, with a 7900x you might lean toward a 1000w, in which case the Leadex V Platinum Pro or Pure Power 12 seem to be the best deals right now.  Though, the Pure Power 12 is ATX 3.0 so it has the 600w 12+4 pin cable, but it only has 2 6+2 pin connectors.  You could just pigtail one and it would work perfectly, but some people get mad about that.  The Leadex V Platinum would not have the 12+4 (the 7900xtx doesn;t use it anyway, but a future GPU might), so it'll have an abundance of 6+2 connectors.

I like that cooler, but I've always prefered the more open shrouds for heat to escape.  It also has a third mounting point, and I think the finstack is a little thicker, too. Same price:

PowerColor Hellhound Radeon RX 7900 XTX 24 GB Video Card (RX7900XTX 24G-L/OC) - PCPartPicker

I edit the shit out of my posts.  Refresh before you respond.
