Thank you everyone for help. I ordered RX6950XT from Amazon.es It is lowest price I could find in Europe. Stock AMD design. I will try with this case and we will see how it goes. I checked and it is exactly 5 years and a week since I ordered my current RX480 4GB聽馃槃聽So it is getting retired finally.聽聽

6950 uses insane power draw just choose 4070 instead.

The 4070 "only" draws 200w.聽

More importantly, according to Hardware Unboxed, the maximum powerspike they saw brought it up to 230w.聽

That is IMO pretty impressive, given the other cards with simular performance (see the screendump I took from Tom's Hardware GPU Hierarchy).聽

Mind you, it annoys me, as I had talked myself into going for AMD or Intel for the next gpu, voting with my wallet and all that, but with a mITX case efficiency is an important factor.聽

mITX is awesome! I regret nothing (apart from when picking parts or have to do maintainance *cough*cough*)

the reduced die area means that the gpus use less power

Sure the 4090 'can' draw 450 watts but most of the time it draws about 350. Also the 4070 normally draws about 180 on average and max was 230. Considering that an a770 draws more thats pretty efficient聽image.thumb.png.e6755d8a3495855fc0b6a815a96b8836.png

Why? Most PSUs are the same size, no matter what wattage you go for. It's not efficiency that matters, it's cooling performance and temperatures. Unfortunately this (mITX) is such a small market, that no one tests for it. And anyway, price aside, the biggest problem with the 4070 is that it's not actually TDP limited, it's TGP limited. As Jay himself put it - the gap between the 4070 and the 4070Ti is what the gap between the 3070 and the 3090 was. Plenty of room to sneak at least one more skew in between and i even think, considering how completely arrogant they've been lately and some people still are going for their stuff, Nvidia will try to put 2 skews in between the 4070 and the 4070Ti. A Super card and probably an OC one.

Its not the psu. It's the cooling. I like my pc to run very quiet AND my mITX case is max 45 mm gpu width.聽

Edit: I'm awaiting the 7600 (xt?) and 4060ti in end of May in any case聽

Both have variants in the under 30db range while performing at almost the same temperature. 76掳C for the Sapphire Nitro+ 6950 XT and 70掳C for the Asus Dual 4070.

I would love a Sapphire nitro, have drooled over them for a long time, but please look up the specs on those cards and get back to me 馃檪

I don't have to look the specs. I have a Nitro+ OC SE 6900XT in my case and i got Nitro+ 6950XT PURE to replace my cousin's 3060. His GPU in RAGE mode is practically silent and can't be heard over the sound of the CPU fans, while still holding 75-76掳C during gaming. Mine is a bit hotter and louder, but that's because i bought it 2nd hand, haven't cleaned it yet and it certainly needs it, but it still won't go over 86掳C while still being quieter than my mechanical drives.

Its the width that is the issue 馃檪

Max 45 mm. And your suggestions are rather chunky bois.聽
