Issues with signing into pc

Tried logging on to my pc yesterday and it told me my pin was incorrect, nobody has access to or knows how to even change my password so I’m confused what’s happened, haven’t found any helpful videos or information online

No, no other options apart from typing in my pin

do you not get any options as I forgot my pin ?

normally you can just log in as a guest and go to microsoft website. select reset pin but to do so tyou need to login to your microsoft account with your password to confirm your indentity. then you can reset the pin and your done.

try this option it is listed in the webpage I linked full instruction with images it should get you sorted.

other than that.. we cannot help you to circumvent security measures like windows sign-in.

Okay just went through all these options and nothing worked, I did notice the forgot password thing, I was baked and missed it lmao, anyway the email for my Microsoft account is old and I’ve lost access to it, I reset my email and phone number so in 30 days I’ll be able to access my account, is there a different/faster way to get into my computer?

Fair point lmao, my mate told me earlier that the ltt forums were full of active computer nerds to help because he didn’t know how to fix my issue

If all of the above failed then no.......it is a security measure so despite the known issue with windows 10 there was a bug that could happen when doing windows updates and the sign in with pin got corrupted it is a good method to help protect peoples data if they loose their laptops or their PC is stolen etc.
