Buy a 7700 or 7900 non x instead, they come with the wraith prism which is more than adequate for the stock 90w power limit and you can do abit more tuning over that, not much temp/freq scaling on zen4 so running at 95c vs 85c basically no diff, also <1.2v vcore so theres no issue pushing the temps to tjmax (and problably abit more than that). Though coolers like the thermalright burst assassin go for 28$ and the peerless assassin/phantom spirit 120 go for 35-45$ which are alot better than the prism, but that just means if you buy those instead of using the prism then the prism acts like a 10-20$ cashback when you sell it

What specific psu? Gigabyte UD-GM 1000w go for 130$ (no not the explosion hazard p-gm) which aside from useless on paper marketing garbage has no noticable irl difference than whatever 180$ psu that is

Solid board, though b650(m) aorus elite ax tends to be cheaper and has more usb ports

God awful unless were talking the bare minimum 5600c30 or 6000c32 bins

CL itself is next to useless for performance but low cl because hynix a die for 8000+ capability and effectively futureproofing your kit for the rest of the ddr5 generation, whereas the higher cl bins are likely to come with trash that wont clock over 7000 and warrant a replacement in 2-3 years when you upgrade cpu and find out the ram cant clock high enough

Thats a damn good deal on a 980 pro, but if you dont do r/w heavy stuff like high res video editing refrain from buying since that wont do anything for your game loading times, an 80$ dram ssd like the leven jpr700 would be better. Also dont pay attention to branding, its as useless as ram branding since all the components (flash, dram, controller, etc.) Are made by the same few companies, and if they (component manufacturers) made garbage then theyd be out of buisness already

Case is personal choice, if you really like the look theres nothing wrong with it assuming you have maxed out your pc spec and still have budget leftover. 7950x + 7900xtx should fit and still leave some budget after the optimizations i suggested if you wanna use this as more of a workstation rather than a gaming rig (7700/7800x3d would leave even more budget headroom)

iirc it doesnt come with fans and isnt a particularly good aircooling case since its made more for custom loops/aios, but that shouldnt matter that much and maybe youll lose 1 or 2c stuff you literally wont notice, honestly boggles my mind why ppl buy the fractal torrent for aircooling performance and not just aesthetics. Anything with decent airflow will perform good, anything with bad airflow just take the sidepanel off now its effectively an open bench and itll perform decently

follow @Somerandomtechyboi's advice for the other parts but for the cooler if you go with a 7700 non x or 7900 non x all you really need is a thermalright peerless assassin 120 or the ak620 and you'll be golden

that is the deal they have going on where basically you get the ram for free, is this good ram or no? also is there any performance difference when it comes to the 7700x vs the 7700 non x or the 7900, i dont plan on doing any editing or anything of that sort, just gaming. I dont know what brand to go with when it comes to psu because i dont have much knowledge besides just make sure its 80 plus gold rated,

that ram is OK. Really not very good though. I would try and get a non x chip and some cl30 trident z neo though. Ryzen 7000 really favours smaller timings

Is there any specific one you recommend? I was just looking at it since I would basically be getting it for free.

Oh for gods sake the amount of times ive said primaries dont matter that much for performance

Its all in the subtimings, theres a reason why i constantly give the CL does next to nothing reminder because it does next to nothing for performance aside from very minorly improving benchmark scores

Focus your damn efforts in trfc, trc trrd-l/s tfaw (1), alongside the same rank diff rank diff dimm tertiaries, also just max out trefi

Though i did not know that the other primaries differed so may have to pay attention to that if the looser primaries 6000c32 doesnt come with hynix a die

@RONOTHAN## just give em a short summary of the timings that matter cause i currently only have knowledge and not experience cause

No did not take that as offence dw

Yea sometimes you cant tell when youve offended someone or not online =p

Car > computer for now cause i dont even use a desktop and i wanna finally get into cars and have the pride of driving my own at a very young age, though i wonder if all the cressidas with the 1g are autos cause thatd suck, but oh well if i dont just immedeatly 1/2jz swap ill just salvage a w57/58 somewhere and slap a hx35 knockoff on the thing cause i dont think ethanol exists here in indo =|

Though since my goal is 2000$ (so theres headroom for flipping more pcs and not spending it on a car) maybe ill finally get to play around with ddr4, i mean ryzen 5500 are like 90-100$ and have cezanne imc, just need to pair with a decent ram clocker maybe b350 tomahawk since the b450 tomahawk hwbot has a ram freq validation of >5000 last time i checked, also pci slots so i dont need to spend loads on a pcie debug card, though it seems like past the 600$ mark pc sales start slowing down alot cause thats 9 million idr and i think ppl feel threatened if the price is >10 million cause the damn number itself
