Can the MKR WAN 1310 Connect to Wi-Fi?

From what I could find online, the Arduino MKR WAN 1310 is made for the LoRaWAN network to use with the Arduino Cloud. For my use case, it would make more sense if I were to connect it to Wi-Fi. Is this possible out of the box or do I need to look for something external like this wireless module? I would preferably like to make it work with the MKR 1310. Thanks for the help.
