  1. I have recently gotten a used 570 8gb GPU and my system is not detecting the device as a usable device. It detects it in device manager but that the device has issues and the system disabled it. I am unable to use it for graphics. I have tried current drivers and I have tried rolling them back to see if that would change anything and it hasn't. My system currently works with a 1070 so there is nothing wrong with the rest of my system. Do I need to flash the card or what else do I need to do? Thanks for the help.
  2. I have been going through some of my old PC components and testing the each one to make sure they still work. I recently tested my Asus Rampage IV Extreme motherboard (EATX LGA2011) and it booted up fine. I revisited the system a day or two later and turned it on using the onboard system start (I do not have any of the components in a case and I am on a testing bench) and the Debug LEDs read "00". I read this meant "not used" in the manual but I do not know how to fix the issue. Methods attempted to fix the situation: - Changing the RAM to different slots and RAM quantities.
  3. Do you have a suggestion or methodology on how I would be go about the second option? I don't have a spare computer to clone so would I have to run a VM and clone the VM?
  4. Yeah, and Foone Turing got Doom to work on a pregnancy tester. I'm just trying to figure out how to get Windows to run off a USB. Linus proved it to work with an SD. I was trying to find how to do it with a USB. Any ideas?
  5. I am trying to see if my PC and run Windows off a USB as if the USB were a hard drive/SSD. I know the speeds would be terrible but I wanted to see if it could be done. I know a while back Windows had a feature named "Windows Go" in which this was the purpose of the system, but Windows Go had stopped receiving development and support. I tried using Rufus to download a copy of Windows from Windows 10 Update Assistant but the flash drive isn't detected when I go through the installer. I watched Linus's video on booting from the SD card but I don't know how well that will transfer over to a USB. I

  7. I am looking to improve my system's SSD with faster read and write speeds. I have been looking at "this SSD" and needed to know how I would be able to connect it to my motherboard. Anything helps.
