I see optical above those RCA connectors.  Does your PC have optical out?

use a stereo 1/8" (3.5mm) cable to stereo RCA.

i have considered that and may still go that way. I am using a TV as my monitor and wanted to be able to still get sound out of it

What receiver do you have?

HDMI from pc to tv then HDMI from tv to receiver. If you can't do that then how about optical out from tv to the receiver? Or last option use stereo 1/8" to rca

PC Audio Setup = Beyerdynamic DT 770 pro 80 ohm and Sennheiser pc37x (also for xbox) hooked up to Schiit Fulla 3

As stated... get an aux -> RCA cable.

There's no active conversion required, it's just a different way of having the cable set up.

yeah thats what I went ahead and did. It will work for now. I lose the monitor (tv) speakers when using the AUX->RCA but I will work on that later if I can find an answer (maybe there is none).

thank you for the help.

Because you're using a Tv for a monitor I'm going to assume you're using HDMI to connect the PC to the Tv. I would use an optical cable from the Tv to the receiver. Just to make it simple

you mobo has no other audio out.

Are you running HDMI To the TV?

Does your TV have Optical Out?  or HDMI ARC?  That would get audio to your receiver, and be better than an 1/8" Cable

This is the answer. Unless for some damn reason your TV does not have optical.

SPDIF also works from the computer.

It's not really any simpler though (a small argument could be made that it's slightly better).
You can find AUX to RCA cables for around $5 or so or an adapter for around $3ish. I said adapter not converter because there's no conversion. It's just a different form factor.
