I have a problem with cables....please help

I bought a used mpg msi a750gf, but when i was installing it i realized it didnt have 2x4 cable for the cpu. I found one cable online but is for an mpg msi a850gf. And now im afraid of frying my whole pc

any generic CPU cable should be fine. unless the power supply is bad you should not fry the thing

I hit 700W on an i5 with a NHD15

Also I'm 14 so please just confirm anything I say with someone more experienced

Those power supplies are from the same line, so you're safe using the cable from the A850GF on your 750.

No. The MSI power supplies almost match Corsair's type 4 cable pinout.

Different power supplies can have different pinouts. 

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

That is just bad advice to throw out there. PSU manufactures may (and do) use different pinouts and in some case don't even share a common pin layout across PSU's within a single manufacturer. 

 

@ShooterPawn - @IkeaGnome has stated the cable you linked is suitable. The other way around this (if the cable wasn't suitable) would be to use a cable extension that split to 4/4.
