The best place to get help with this kind of thing would be a professional therapist. People on the forum likely have varied experiences with therapy, I myself have been through it, and it helped me massively. Work was getting on top of me, and I couldn't process what was happening to me.

Therapy helped me talk to my closest friends and family openly and honestly. I would advise speaking to a therapist, but if you're not interested in going to therapy, an excellent start is to talk to your support network—family, friends, etc. Just remember you're not burdening them by asking for help. They're your family and are there to help you.

I agree with Ruff, talk to someone you trust. Let them know what is going on in your mind. Sometimes the very act of speaking about an issue can give you relief from the issue. You also can work thru an issue with someone you trust.

No matter what you’re going through, remember Jesus loves you.

†

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie,
        In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
        In Flanders fields.

Cry havoc and let slip the Togs of war.  (Signature V3)

when i hear heartbreak, i always think of relationship issues. I get humans are social animals and all but learning to not get so obessed over another person is an important life lesson. good news is that if you have experienced it once already, 2nd, 3rd and subsequent times are just gonna be whatever
