so i have a Z420 right.. and im upgrading my gpu from K2000 to RX580 2048SP and am not sure which cable to use my psu got 6 pins for my gpu i think its 6+2 but correct me if im wrong.

show some pics of all the pcie power connectors and specification what specific rx 580 you'd like to get

i am not doing it now but am doing in in april 17th when my card arrives its a 8GB RX580 2048SP. i need it so i know which cable to buy

At most an adapter to pcie 8 pins, since I don't think your PSU is modular.
Whether or not it's safe to use the adapter though..., idk. Never used PCIE adapters before.

it isnt modular i need something that splits it
