could you please help me

figure out which headphones are good?

 

option 1: Sony wh1000xm4

option 2: Sony wh1000xm5

option 3: Sennheiser momentum 4

option 4: Bose qc 45 or qc 35 gaming 

from what I can tell based on frequency curves on soundguys, all have good anc 

within acceptable variations 

pls correct if I am wrong

 

I ran a survey on the entirety of UCSD and found that the Sony xm4 and the Bose ones are most common 

make of that what you will

not a real consideration in the decision just felt like mentioning it

 

Im not sure but am a bit more partial to the Sennheiser ones because of the supposedly good mic and audio quality,

 

I’ll make a poll but would like more written responses to factor into me decision

I watch lot of movies and listen to music, mostly pop and a few rock and other genre songs, have Apple Music, that needs to be taken into consideration 

 

 

 

 

The Bose candidates have been eliminated, which ones? Sony m5 ,m4 , or sennheiser?

Personally I wouldn't be getting wireless headphones at all, but I also don't really like headphones anymore.

I do not know any of those headphones at all.  I have used the Logitech G933 and currently have the Corsair Virtuouso SE, but I only use them for Discord.  I run my game sounds thru my main speakers and chat thru the headphones.

 

Gives me an ambient sound for gaming and chat is nice and clear.

 

I'd probably look more at V-Moda, I like their products much more than Sony or Bose. My son loves his, but I haven't actually listened to them.

 

Bose can fuck off.  Have them actually made anything of quality since the 901's?  The lifestyle system and $500 clock radio with "tunnel technology" were straight for the suckers.
