650 watt enough for 6600xt and 5800x3d

Rumman

Planning  to get CX650F for the current system and future upgrade.

Specs-

R5 3600x

Rx 6600xt

3 HDD

2 SSD

Will upgrade to much faster CPU like 5800x3d.

So, should a 650 watt psu will be enough for now and for future upgrade?

not a good choice then.

RMX 650 or 850, etc, depending on what you actually plan to upgrade,  for newer high end gpus you're probably looking at the 1000w range...

btw thats only a 160w card? then a good 450w psu or something would probably be enough even with a 5800x3D... it really depends on your "future upgrade" plan... which how should anyone be able to tell you ? 🤔

Appreciate the answer. But why should I choose RM650 rather then CX650F for the same wattage celling. I find that the newer CX-f series are pretty good. Correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks

because if you get a higher end gpu it won't be good enough probably, same wattage,  different functions... thats why a RMX is typically more expensive.  other way around why would anyone buy a RMX if the CX is good enough?  (for your current use case it definitely is though)

Then, should I heading towards RM650 rather RMX one. Find one reasonable deal.
