Problems with using a VPN to change Wargaming.net account's region to Turkey so i can buy in-game items cheaper.

Hi guys, as you can read in the title I need help. I tried to use Windscribe VPN so I could change the account's region through player support but they somehow found out that I was using a VPN to do this. How do I make them not find out about it? Should I use another VPN or something? Thanks in advance!

You could try a different VPN but they might be flagging it as suspicious, either because they know it's a VPN IP or because they know your account previously connected from elsewhere. Aside from that, I think you are out of luck. Although I would suggest not spending too much money on WG anyway, after the release of the BZ 176.

I would assume they know the IP addresses of every well-known VPN, because… they're well-known. Aside from that, they probably tracked the IP you generally use to access the service, so even if there's a VPN they don't know about, it likely wouldn't work. And even if you get around that, you might fail when your payment information doesn't belong to a Turkish address.

Well then, i'll try to use a not so well known VPN and if this won't work i will just give up on it.

Most, if not all datacenter IP ranges are well known. Besides, this is the reason why most MMO/RPG/MMORPG games are region locked and things dont transfer between regions. There also might be a grace period where you can switch your region once every year or so. Be aware that this is also wont fly the games rules.
