GTX 660: should i upgrade?

BROmoT
Go to solution Solved by Mooshi,

I personally wouldn't bother. Even if it's delayed, I would rather wait for Maxwell cards to be out.

I have a gigabyte gtx 660 OC 2gb, an intel quad core i7 3770 @3.4 GHz - 3.9 GHz turbo and 8gb ram. I use this machine mostly for gaming.

Should i upgrade my GPU? and if i do, any Suggestions?

What kind of games do you play and what settings do you want then to run at. Also what resolution is your display?

I have a 1080p monitor and i play mostly shooters and adventure games like assassins creed, splinter cell Titanfall etc. and i want to run them on high.

How much you willing to spend. I would pair a Gtx 770 with that build if I were you. Should meet your needs fine.

I agree completely. Skip this generation and wait for GTX 8xx

Yea the 660 is still a good card I would wait and see what maxwell has to offer. But if you really want a new card now you could get a 770
