is it good to run a 1440p Monitor on a 21:9 ( 2560x1080) ?

Gfish

At first the question is stupid, but hear me out, that's why i am asking because i don't know
so the plan was to buy a WFHD monitor 2560x1080, but because i live in a very not the best country and that pretty much don't exist and if they do, it's the super Extremes high end stuff which will cost which costs 4 times what i am willing to pay for a WFHD monitor which is 200$  give or take few dollars.

and if i want to buy the monitor i want from out of country , i will pay about 3 times it's worth cause customs.
so the idea hit me, why don't i buy a 27' 1440P monitor and run it on that resolution on the games i wanted to run that on as it will cost between 150~200$ and the only thing i will have to live with are black bars on top and bottom, but i will get what i wanted in those games  2560x1080.

reading all of that, i thank you for taking the time to do so, and please give me your opinion, what do you think if it is good or bad or what.

P.S i have been looking for a WFHD monitor for the past 4 months  and there is non used or new anywhere in my country. also the ones that would cost 200$ would only be 100~75 HZ, but the 1440p Monitor  the lowest would be 120Hz

Edit
Added Pictures as an Example of why i want something like that

It's probably not gonna look great, but it's doable.

Is there any reason you can't just run 2560x1440 or even just 16:9 aspect ratio?

Yes Sir, some games have an advantage in a wide Resolution/ Aspect ratio, as in you can see a lot more than a normal 16:9, but also a part of the question is, will that happen anyway if i go from 1080P to 1440P cause now i have bigger resolution or will it just scale.

It'll be a bit blurrier than you'd expect, since the physical layout of the pixels are not the same. 1080p and 1440p pixel layout are different to begin with, and add the forced 21:9 aspect ratio, it'd get worst.

4K scale down to 1080p is fine since they have the same pixel layout, but 1440p is not.

If you can run Lost Ark at native 1440p,  just do that.

I play LA at 1440p, and it's fine...doesn't look "stretched" or anything.

But yes, if you run at 2560x1080 instead of 2560x1440, and you DON'T stretch it to full screen, you will have the black bars on the top and bottom.
