There's SO-DIMM which is a smaller ram stick, for laptops, and there's regular DIMM, which is the normal size ram sticks.

You need regular DDR3 sticks.

You also have to be careful and check if your motherboard actually supports 8 GB sticks. Some chipsets had limitations which only made it possible to use sticks up to 4 GB in size.

Your motherboard may also have 4 slots in  total, which means you could just add 2  4 GB sticks and keep the existing 2 x 2 GB sticks.

So start by determining what motherboard model you have - if you don't know it should be printed somewhere on the motherboard or you can find it with tools like HWInfo64 or Aida64 or maybe even CPU-Z

Share the links, and tell us what motherboard you have. That will help us to help you.

my motherboard has only two ram slots. So I think i can use 8 gb sticks.
