Hello, I am new to pc building so please bear with me. I bought an internal I/O card to use my front panel USB-C port and also to connect a Wifi/Bluetooth card. I have installed the card and it appears to be receiving power, but neither USB-C port or the Wifi card work. I am not sure if there is something I need to do in BIOS or update drivers. Here is the exact card I bought. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09GKLN7RT?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1

Does it show up in Device Manager?

I was reading the reviews for the product to see if anyone reported anything...The first one I read had a similar problem to what you report. Does Windows Update show anything at all?(make sure you specifically check for any updates that you can).

Yes

what does device manager say about it? does it have a propper driver loadeed?

also, you dont see USB 3.x cards that dont need additional power very often - perhaps this thing just has horrid power delivery, and the usb devices conk out as soon as they try to initialize.

Your card uses the Fresco Logic 1100 chipset. I found drivers from Fresco online: https://support.frescologic.com/portal/en/kb/articles/usb

It says that there is a Windows driver that was used for the card. Would something like 1 usb c port and a wifi card consume enough power to cause the card to not work?

there's so many factors there that i couldnt tell you.

perhaps try with just a USB stick or something, and see if that works.
