Hi guys, I'm wondering if a 3060 is worth the £50-60 extra for 1080p gaming, I have one or two games with ray tracing so I'm not too bothered about all of that. I might upgrade to a 1440p display at some point but got now its just 1080@60.

Thanks!

I would opt for the 3060, one gen newer and more performance than 2060

yeah. the 6600 (non xt) can be had for 230 if you get new or even 180 2nd hand (more in my price range) but im thinking ill be better of spending more and having it alot longer

6600 XT is IMO worth it as long as you have some buyer protection, eg you can stress test for a week and return if it fails.

Also what's your opinion on a 2060 super? I can get one for 190 (less than a 6600xt)and it has dlss and performs similar to a 3060?

3600 all the way. Back when the 2000 series was current, none of the cards but the 2080Ti were worth getting because the 1080Ti existed.

2060 Super should pretty much be right in between the RX 6600 non XT and RTX 3060 12GB.
