atapter for old hdd

hello community 

i want to intergrand an old 500 gb hhd in my current sta system it usese molex as power an a many pins are there any atapters ? or sjould i buy a new better hhd /ssd (m2 wonte work )

There are adapters from pcie, sata and usb to ide to connect this drive 

 

But these adapters are often the price of a new 500gb hdd, so unless you need the data from that drive id skip it.

This should do it, but know that a drive this age is unlikely to be durable. Also, it *must* be installed while tower is powered down

As said before, only really useful for taking off files that could still be on the drive.
Getting a new drive would be about the same price as a noteworthy adapter.

Also the newer drive will be less noisy, less prone to vibration also would make less vibration.Faster too, lower seek times. Less power consumption.

But then this would not be instant e-waste.
