CPU: R5 2600

Mobo: MSI mortar b450

GPU: MSI Mech 6650XT

 

Is SAM supported with my hardware and how to check?

If yes, how to enable

If no, well no

AMD Smart Access Memory | AMD

Some have had luck with a 3rd gen Ryzen on some B450 motherboards...depending on the manufacturer. AMD states at least a 5000 series Ryzen processor and 500 series motherboard for the bare minimum support.

AFAIK it is not supported on anything older than Zen2 (Ryzen 3xxx CPUs). Check around in BIOS, you need to have a UEFI install of Windows with no CSM, you need to have above 4G decoding enabled (I think) then have Resizeable Bar option either on or on auto.

 

I did get my R5 3600 and my RTX3070 to work fine on two gigabyte B450 boards.
