Aio cooler or tower cooler

bal723

so i recently got into problem of choosing a cooler.

I have a choice from 2:

Aorus tc700 tower cooler

Aerocool likai 240 aio cooler

But i think that with aio radiator in front of my case (aerocool cs-107) my gpu wont fit (gtx 1660 ti aorus 280mm) because max gpu size is 286mm, so what to go with?

(cpu is i3 10105f btw).

Such odd cooler choices, i3s could use stock cooler and it will run fine, even non K i5s too.

I wouldn't buy cheap unknown AIOs, AIOs are prone to failure as it is, going with cheap unknown ones is just unwise.

That said, any cheap air cooler is the better choice.

Both are overkill for a Core i3. Something like a DeepCool AK400 would be cheap more than enough for that chip. Those things can basically run with the stock cooler. It's only the higher end i5s and i7s you need to worry about. There are also the Zero Dark variants of the AK400 if you want to go for a clean all black aesthetic.

Havent seen any big reviews (seems like its not sold in a lot of places) but cheap AIOs are usually worse than tower coolers anyways. But anything more than a basic tower cooler is overkill on an i3

Somethink like 90% of AIO's are made by the same company...

Well yes, but nowadays some small companies have made their own radiators to avoid those trademarked designs.

Such as ID-Cooling, IIRC big company too such as MSI.

So unless we know for sure, I wouldn't put my money on it and say, "hey they all use the same radiators and pump anyway".

Deepcool ak400 is more expensive than both aio and tower in my local shops

Aerocool sells some of the most popular pc cases in russia like aerocool cylon, aerocool aero one mini and aerocool bolt mini, their quality was good in last years, so i can say that its pretty safe to buy aio from them

I need a cooler for a future, so i could upgrade to i7 in next 6 years, and i3 would be a lot colder with them anyways
