Ram is not working please help

I just built a new pc but the red light showing that something wrong with my ram is on and I’m 100% sure it’s seated correctly. Also when I hold down the power button the red light will go between the cpu and dram. I have a b650m Auros elite ax mother board, ddr5 5200m cl40 1x16gb ram, a ryzen 7 7700x, and an rm 1000x power supply. And I know that the cpu is also seated correctly
