I want 4K to become a standard because then the rest of us cheap stakes will be able to buy 1080p monitors and lower for cheaper.

At the moment I don't care about 4k.

simply no because really nothing is in 4k unless you have super speedy internet to run a 4k video everytime you watch videos on youtube, vimeo or HoC 4k on netflix and that's pretty much all there is to it so I would say no.

I don't think you should care about it unless you want a huge TV, but even then, hardly any content is in 4K right now, so it wouldn't be worth the price, IMO.
