LTT Shoelaces

I got my order today with my shoelaces but there was only 1 lace...is that normal? If so then maybe the box should say shoelace...I was expecting shoelaces to replace some

I would have expected 2, too. But Linus said in the WAN show that it's the same as in the RGB Hoodie as a 'hood lace'. Maybe it's intendet that way and it basically is a shoe lace used differently.

I guess my thought process was just the laces part meaning plural...no biggie since it was free but just was inquiring

The product photos show that only one lace comes in a box. Nut they should disclose that its only one.

 

I'm wondering if it's a bit of a miscommunication on their end. Seeing as it's a bonus bin item and you can't buy extra, they maybe intended it to be a pair of laces but since it's not a high priority item on the store the fact it's only one lace just slipped through the cracks.

The description recommends using it to match your shoelaces to your hoodie so they're definitely intending them to be used for shoes.

Pretty weird you only get 1 shoelace ngl. It's a freebie so hard to complain but if you chose that instead of another freebie like the sticker pack or cable ties expecting to get a pair of shoelaces (which is completely fair to expect) then I can understand feeling a bit disappointed. Product page should definitely state that it only includes 1 shoelace.

 

The box design looking like a PSU is pretty cool though.

The product description and the side of the box also say "shoelaces". Plural.

The description also says "We highly recommend buying these", surely if it was a single shoelace, it would say "We highly recommend buying this"

I mean looking at the product images as well they show a singular shoe...but yea was just kinda bummed, i specifically had a pair of shoes I was going to put these in...

I think that regardless of whether you want to argue it's 1 or 2 laces, it's very clear that it's all very unclear... They should fix this asap.

 

Btw I would totally expect 2 here as well.

But the main photo also shows three boxes, so one could equally assume that you get three of them!

I was considering getting these in my next LTTstore order but they really seem useless if it's just a single one in there. Unless they're trying to get you to do multiple orders to get the complete set which I can't quite believe. Maybe we'll hear it discussed on the WAN Show today.

Confirmed to be a factory mix up and all of those who have single shoelace packs will be sent a second lace free of charge.

A factory mixup doesn't really explain why no one checked to see when they landed.

Yep but mistakes happen, they are fixing it, nothing else to do here so its a moot point now.

LTTStore/Creator Warehouse team must have known what was in the box. The website has photos of it with just 1 in the box. Clearly somebody opened them up and took photos knowing there was only one shoelace in the box before they were listed on the lttstore website. The box also looks like it was designed to only fit 1 shoelace, though I'm sure you could probably squish two in there. I also doubt that they never did a quality check on what they received from their manufacturer before shipping them to customers. I find it pretty hard to believe that Creator Warehouse/LTTstore staff didn't know that there was only a single shoelace in each box, but I could believe that that info didn't make its way up the chain to the decision makers (Nick/Linus/whoever). It could have just been some miscommunication where the team thought that people would just get two boxes when they included it in their order or the team that handles fulfilling the orders didn't know that there was only one lace per box, or something like that. Weird situation to happen whatever the case is.

I've done both shipping and receiving and also creating and placing purchase orders, that is what I gathered.

Reading other comments, it it sort of clear from reviews and product photos, but damn... I find it really weird and odd that someone would sell a single shoe lace as a default packaging for a product. I guess some would like to mix and match the colours, but... But as OP I would really expect the product name to be singular then and even a disclaimer that it is indeed a single shoe lace.
