  1. FAQ post on Corsair forum indicates, that you cannot mix fan types on same controller, but on the interballs I've found people to get it working by some hacks.
  2. You should be able to get the fan working by a splitter, but no clue how you'd manage to control the RGB on them without any additional controllers. Not sure either, if splicing wires would work for RGB, perhaps someone else knows, I'd be interested to know this as well.
  3. If that's your current PC, I don't even want to know what your old one was like. Does this ancient relic even generate heat nor would those microscopic fans help? You cannot really power a 12V fan from 5V (well, you could, but it would not run at all or it would run at much lower RPM). Personally I wouldn't really use USB for this, but rather a 12V wire from PSU that is unused. IF you really want to make an USB-powered fan, get a USB cable, splice the fan into the power wires and try it out.
  4. It is possible. On my motherboard BIOS, there's sensor option "MOSFET" (if I remeber it correctly. Perhaps it was "SYSTEM", too lazy to reboot to check). Another solution is to use fan control software, for example Fan Control by Remi.
  5. Doesn't really help that your iCUE software looks way different to mine and that it is in Portuguese, but I am guessing you simply have the outer ring selected to be lit up and inner one not. For me, I have to use mouse and drag a box over the LEDs I wish to control.   6. The 212 Evo is an old cooler. I used it in my second ever build, as it was recommended back then as well (over 6 years ago, probably closer to 8). It ran really quiet, so that entire system is/was basically dead silent. Cooling on it was also really decent (i5 4670k for CPU).
  7. Moment you realise your CPU max temp is about 20C higher than your GPU's. RX580 Nitro+ is designed to be around 75C while Ryzen 3600 has maximum temperature of around 95C, I believe. I have really ever hit like 70C on it, when running benchmarks though (Cinebench R23, Corsair H100i Pro with fans on quiet). My new setup is based on a combo fan curve though.   8. just signed up to comment how this software is pretty neat. I am using it to control my case fans, since MSI BIOS control sucked really bad. For AIO I use iCue. @Rem0o is there a difference in making two fan curves and combining them versus making a combined sensor and a single fan curve based on that? I am thinking regular use cases, not something extreme. Right now I have set up a GPU + CPU combined sensor, which outputs maximum of the two.
