Whats outside temp nowdays? Open window. Also,  make sure its raised.

It is raised. On the heater >.< (It turns on by itself and I can't turn it off. It's broken.) I also have no battery in it. (Bit useless if It's always on charger lol)

If i have the window open the whole time, it gets very cold here because the laptop is in my room near the windows like I am right now.

I have a laptop running as server (Not a minecraft server!!!!) 24/7. But the problem is, it gets very hot. How do I keep it cool? (If you want me to buy a laptop cooler, what do you think of the Cooler Master NotePal U2?)

Go into the Advanced Power Settings and lower the CPU usage to 99%, it will cool your laptop by 3-5 Celsius at maximum load. If you do not do intensive tasks on your Laptop, you can throttle it further down to 50% to make it run even cooler.

Only buy the Notepal U2 if your Laptop intakes match its Fan Locations.

My suggestion is to strip it down to it's guts and place a standing fan on it, since it is a server i guess you won't be moving it around.

Also cover the ram and other parts of the board that doesn't get hot.

I'm planning to take apart my dell l502x and use it as such.

Might do some mods like sticking fans on it or water cooling.
