Id like to overclock my i5-4670k to 4.4 GHz, any recommendations on cooling solutions are welcome

Im sure I have everything I need to run any cooling solution except water cooling its self.

NHD-14 for if you want air or H100i for water cooling.

There's better 240 AIOs out there than the H100i.

which cooling solution is better in your opinion?

wait for the NDH-15, it is better than the old 14

get the H100i if you want good looks, with a side panel window on your case

you can also overclock more with an H100i, to about 5GHz with a decent processor

the noctua cooler is more for silence and people who dont like watercooling

you get good temps with that one too

personally I am a water cooling guy but I have had air and water in my system and they are both really the same just one is a big chunk of metal and the other is a long chunk of metal. If you are unsure what you want I would suggest going NHD air cooling as long as your ram and case support it(massive heatsink).

I think the ones you're speaking of aren't available in the U.S. though.

He can get the Glacer 240L which is basically the H220 for the US since it was designed in colab. with Swiftech.

For optimal noise levels I would go with the NH-d14/15 as it runs nearly silent, although it is quite big and fills a side panel window. That thing kept my cpu really cool even at 1.35v so I have no prblem recommending it for overclocking. The only reason I swapped out to an h100i is my brother wanted my nh-d14 for his super silent rig :/

Extremely unlikely you'll get a chip that can overclock to 5ghz.

what case would you recommend, do you think an i5-4670k would go to 5ghz?

it depends on the CPU if it overclocks well

some people have a core voltage of 1.4v and cant get over 4.4GHz

i have 1.15v at 4.6GHz

it all depends, but a liquid cooler removes most of the temperature bottleneck for overclocking
