1440P with a 4090? I'd say at least get an ultrawide 1440P or go straight to 4K.

28.14 for a stick of thermal goop?!

Just get a tube of Artic Silver-5 or Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut paste, those will do the just fine just fine and at a way better price even is AUD.

I mean you can save like a ton of money AND get better parts here. Some which will make A LOT of difference.

One thing for sure GET RID OF THAT CASE. It couldnt handle a 3090 like at all ij terms of heat and a 4090 is well beyond that. You want a good airflow case.

I can't ever imagine myself spend HALF the amount a processor costs on a chunk of metal radiator with water going through it.

I'd say look for a $150-200 cooler for it.

The memory... officially Intel says it supports up to 5600 MT/s ... in practice 6400 will probably work, but I'd look at reviews to see if there's even a point to buying DDR5 memory, how much of a performance increase does DDR5 bring in games? Will the 4090 be limited in some way if you use 3600 Mhz DDR4 sticks that will be half the price or even cheaper?

The Sabrent Q4 uses QLC ... has 800 TB endurance and  without registration , only 1 year warranty. It's pci-e 4.0 but with close to pci-e 3.0 speeds... it's max 4.9 GB/s read and 3.5 GB/s writes.

For comparison WD SN850X  4TB drive has 2400 TB endurance, and 7.6 GB/s read, 6.6 GB/s writes and uses TLC (of course) ... and it used to cost $500 on Amazon (don't now AUD) but you can order from outside Australia, it's 2022 , not 1900

Anyway, 2 TB drives are more common and in stock more often, so you could easily buy 2  2 TB drives for much cheaper price, they're around 200-250$ each for good pci-e 4.0 or pci-e 3.0 drives with very high read/write speeds.

And then theres me, spends 15x more on cooling than cpu, but then my cpu is a 2$ e8500 im trying to clock the balls off and the cooling system will crush that crappy nzxt at only ~30usd but thats kinda cheating since ill go direct water over die and im using a car radiator
