Good trade ?

Traded in my used GTX 1660 super zotac AMP for this one and adding 350$. Is it worth it ?

 

Note : This is a brand new 3060 TI. Not used.

Going rate for a used 1660 Super on eBay is about $130-150.

 

So in essence you are paying almost $500 for a used 3060 ti. 

 

You can buy a brand new 3060 ti for ~$450.

 

So no, it's not a good trade at all. 

 

If you have $350 right now you can buy a brand new RX 6700 which is very close to the 3060 ti in performance.

It's a a matter of perspective as it depends, who wants the good deal.

Wait that's not a used 3060ti its new. Not used. We have shops that trade in used gpu's for new ones and paying the difference.

Yeah, gotta lead with location.  We default to USD pricing and retailers otherwise.

Yes. I converted 13500 Egyptian pounds to USD while taking out the price of my used 1660 super so it ended up at 350

So based on what a new 3060Ti costs you there, and what you can get for the 1660 Super... Do you feel it's a good trade?

 

I can't comment on either, as I am unfamiliar with Egypt's economy... so it's your call.

3rd world economies don't always have proper brick and mortar stores.  Bedroom stores are common I guess

 

Also, it looks opened as the manual is outside the box and no shrink wrap.

It's brand new and a proper pricing is 680$ if i won't be selling my used GPU. This is my bed and i already unboxed and installed before taking the picture ^^ ! 

And trust me the prices here suck badly..it has 3 years warranty tho with the company.

I just wanted to share my experience that's all..i never knew it'd bother people tbh i was just asking if it was indeed a good trade for a 3060 TI new or not. Since they just got back at stock where i live.

Its all relative with pricing its worth it if its a better deal than what you can get locally. IMO this really wasn't worth it spent about enough to probably get a 3070 but whats done is done. At the end of the day hopefully you can just enjoy the gaming thats what really matters. Also kinda why I'm in no rush to make my probable final upgrade from a 2070 super to a 3080.

Guess what , card had an issue. They gave me a 3070 asus tuf instead!!!! Im really happy rn.
