Getting screen tearing in certain games

Birblover12

The title speaks for itself. I've recently been playing some games, (StarCraft 2 especially, Need for Speed: Heat, Deep Rock Galactic, etc.) and I've begun noticing that there's quite a bit of what I think is "screen tearing". During gameplay, especially in cutscenes, the screen will "ripple" almost, it's really hard to explain but once you see it you cannot unsee it.

How exactly do I fix it? I've heard V-Sync can sometimes help, or cause further issues, I've tried with it on and off, and haven't noticed any difference regardless.

PC Specs:

Core I3-8100

Nvidia RTX 3050

16GBs RAM

Games installed on 512GB M.2 NVMe SSD

Any ideas would be appreciated!

Keep in mind that I am sometimes wrong, so please correct me if you believe this is the case!

are you checking the component usages?

GPU is around 80%, CPU is about the same. Everything else is fine.
