Its the PC speaker (what beeps during POST), if your motherboard has an on-board beeper it probably wont have a speaker header so you can ignore it.  But if it does, there will be a 4 pin header somewhere titled speaker.

Its a motherboard speaker, it goes onto the speaker header if your Motherboard has one. all it does is for beeping, mainly boot errors

It's for POST beep codes. Useful for troubleshooting issues especially if you do not have a POST LCD. Attaches to the speaker pins in the cluster of FP panel pins such as your power and reset button.
