I think on the Youtube ecosystem, there's a certain level of clickbait that needs to happen for a channel to maintain itself or it falls under. I don't usually click on these types of videos myself because I don't care for competition at all, but being a creator on Youtube myself, I understand the need viewers have for some sort of A vs B competition.
