In FPS games how much DPI and in game sens do u use when using guns like assault rifles? If u ever measured also tell me how much inches it takes u to move ur mouse for a 360 or a 180. I just recently switched to 400 DPI and low-ish in game sens in bf3 and it takes mae a whole mousepad(12.6inches aproximately) to do a 180. Damn! Its like aimbot. My accuracy just keeps rising

500 dpi with 1000 polling in CS with a sense of 2.

I use a death adder v2.

Congratulations on discovering the big secret. Companies market irrelevantly high DPI capabilities, yet the higher up you go, the worse it tends to be for achieving good aim.

I'm currently using a whopping 1300. Since I anchor my wrist, I have about 4-5 inches of space to work with.

I have a G500 that's usually turned all the way up to 5700 dpi, but I have the speed and acceleration values set to 0. I also have it set to override the OS native drivers for speed and acceleration in SetPoint.

I usually turn the aim sensitivity to a low value in fps games. Takes me about 6 inches to do full 360 in CS:GO

6400 DPI and 1000hz polling

Yes, this is for playing FPS games. I don't know why, I can't seem to play with low sensitivity mouses.

You should be able to move the mouse by the simple fact of thinking without even touching the mouse using that high sensitivity hahaha, just kidding

I use 800dpi and 1000hz polling. And in games I also lower the sensity.

3060 CPI on my Steelseries Sensei and usually turn the sensitivity down low in game. Generally speaking a low sensitivity (lots of mouse movement) is best for accuracy.

I always used around 4 if there was a slider until i met a friend that plays cs 1.6 , GO tournaments made me switch to 2, i hated it at start but loved it 2 weeks later since my aim increased tremendously. My current settings are 400dpi WMO v1a and if there's a slider i put it at 2 and in Battlefield 3 its 0.113372

Func MS-3. Around 600 CPI. I have it configured, so that moving the mouse from the left to the right edge of my mousemat, I can turn 360°. Thats kinda low considering my mousemat is over 50cm wide.

Im still using a WMO...

Anyone know a good mouse that similar to the WMO, has 2 thumb buttons, and has an at least slightly higher dpi, oh, and fits a Black/Red color scheme?

Only options I've seen are the Razer Mamba (but Ive seen far too many Razer products crap out first hand by friends of mine)

And the Steel Series Sensei

The higher the DPi the smoother the movements you get.Turn down you DPI and go into paint and draw a circle and watch how jagged the edges are.Now do the same with a higher dpi and it will make a smooth circle.Last thing you need a jerky movements while trying to aim..And always leave you win mouse setting to the middle..

Did you not watch the very video you posted?

His MSPaint demonstration had nothing to do with DPI...He even fixed it by lowering windows pointer speed (and if you know how windows pointer speed works, you'd understand why it fixed it. 3 and 6 are the only settings you want to ever use, but ideally 6).

Throughout the video he repeatedly says to keep sensitivity low so you retain control. If you are making "jerky" circles in paint with lower DPI, that's probably down to your own flaws, because a lower DPI means you have to draw a larger circle on the mousepad, thus giving you more chance to mess it up. Here's a picture of me at 500 and 1800 DPI, guess which is which? If you have good aim, there's no reason for lower DPI to be any more jagged unless you just get lazy.

1000Hz polling rate, I never change it, and play Arma

Thats not even the point of the video. Besides that, higher DPI doesnt mean smoother movements, higher DPI means that you need to move your hand less to go from point A to point B. Higher polling rate might give you a feeling of a smoother movement, but in fact its taking more samples of the movement as you make it, depending on the steadiness of your hand this might be helpfull or not.

Mate, one of the best mice ever made!

If you are looking for a replacement, check out the Zowie mice. They are almost the same and have decent sensors.

Is this the real life? Or is this just fantasy?

i played on 6400 dpi,1800dpi, 800 dpi,400 dpi and 400 is for me the most accurate with a low sensitvity. my accuracy keeps increasing and increasing. higher DPI does not mean higher accuracy
