Please help choose a camera for video making

g335

Hello,

I want to buy a camera for video filming. I will film stuff for Youtube, outdoor, action, music events, etc.

What would be a good entry to intermediate cameras in the 100-500 dollar range?  Would a dedicated film camera be good or a photo camera that does video?

Cheapest way would be to grab a Canon 700D or something similar.  But it's the lenses that will really sting.  Once you're passed the $3-500 dollar mark on video cameras then you start to need interchangeable lenses and video camera lenses are WAAY more expensive than still camera lenses.

So a 700D with a 'fast' 50mm lens is your best starting point

With all the Trolls, Try Hards, Noobs and Weirdos around here you'd think i'd find SOMEWHERE to fit in!
