My headset does not have a removable cable or a microphone port on it. I'm not sure these are completely compatible

I'm using an old, at the time, from Massdrop Minimic with my HD650's and it works quite well. The main problem is just the added bulk of another cable hanging off the headphones and I haven't settled on a method yet for dealing with that. The mic itself comes with little velcro like pieces and you attach one to the headphones then the mic can just be pulled on and off. 

 

 

If I felt like spending $140 i'd get the ModMic Wireless but at that kind of price, i'd just get a desktop mic if having a microphone was that big a deal.

I do kind of love my desk mic. But it's XLR and that's a big ask for most people. But it's XLR and that's a big ask for most people.
