Hey guys, just got around to watching the WAN show from last Friday.

Sounds like there will be a decent chunk of backpacks alongside the screwdrivers. If someone who has already ordered a backpack shows up, is it possible to 'pick-up' that backpack, or would it have to be a separate expense and a canceled order?

Tempting to drive up there regardless to get a screwdriver, as I don't live far away. Had I realized they were so close before I would have driven up for the original backpack pop-up!

I'd say it'll be separate order and cancel existing order. From what Linus has said about the Backpack popup, they had to set up a separate store through shopify that isn't part of the current store so they might not be able to access existing orders through the popup store.. There's also the problem of needing to refund shipping and potentially changes in how the order is needing to be taxed which will probably create a lot of headache for the staff running the popup.

Might be best to tweet at Nick on twitter as he could probably give an official answer to this.

Thanks for the response. I figured it'd be that. I don't use Twitter, but I think I'll make one specifically to ask this question, haha. Appreciate it.

Another question on the pop up. Is the address posted anywhere? I know it said the lab, but the address for that doesn’t seem to be easy to dig up. Is that something we need to pm for?

I was going to ask the backpack question too, but if it’s going to make things difficult I’ll just wait. I imagine it might make customs a bit harder too.

They'll presumably publicly post it when the pop-up shop date is announced but they've said it's really close to their current offices which they publicly indicate both on LTX website and the linusmediagroup website, so it's just going to be somewhere close but not quite there.

For anyone thinking about flying for this I hope they dont forget that I am pretty sure you cant do carry on with a screwdriver so you are gonna have to check baggage, which right now is not a fun thing in Canada as the airlines are a cluster f*ck right now. I thought about driving out from Alberta but I already have commitments for the weekend

I just measured my snap on one and its 9.5 inches from the handle to the end of the empty shaft, I would imagine the ltt one will exceed the 7 inches allowed. Wow part of that could be taken out of context lol

Would be CATSA in this case assuming one flies out of YVR, but their rules are pretty similar.
