So I was going home from school when we suddely had to hit the breaks. This sent my laptop flying and dropping about 30cm. On closer inspection, the display is working fine and its a bit slow but thats because its on battery, the keyboard is fine (I am typing this on it right now). But I'm not super sure its 100 percent fine. And plus, there were a bunch of books there too.

Most likely fine. Most newer laptops dont have any moving parts apart from the fan. If you don't see any physical damage, then I wouldn't worry.
