What problems are you trying to solve?  Do you have a lot of lightning?  Power outages?

Are you in the U.S.?

Ok. Well, UPSs vary from region to region.  Like, what the sell in the U.S. is different from EU, India, etc. because of mains voltage and plug type.  So I can't really help you if I don't know where you are.

Oh, good.  APC is pretty common there.  I'd get something like the APC SMT1500IC.  The LCD panel is cool (gives you status) and if you plug it into your router, you can monitor it via IP address.  You can even expand it with a plug in the back.

They also sell Powercom there, but in a previous life I used them a lot and I still have my regrets.  Let's just say "you get what you pay for".
