Nothing?

Build seems perfectlt balanced and capable as is.

For context a 8700k at 5ghz is like 10% behind a i5 12600 neither cpu holds back a 2080ti.

A 2080ti is still in the top 5 best gaming gpus on the planet so no worries there.

Maybe you have a lot of stuff open in the background and could use some more ram?

240fps is reserved for esports games only most other games are too heavy to do that even on top end cpus or they arent optimized enough/their enginr doesnt handle it well

Samsung g7 1440p 240hz

For the 1440p 240Hz experience I can only recommend more GPU horsepower. This is a really demanding performance target and it's a lot more pixels/second than 4k 60Hz, which is already only realistic in modern games with really beefed up graphics cards.

But to me, anything over 120Hz for someone who's not a really competitive gamer begins to blend together in terms of how enjoyable the gaming experience is. I wouldn't recommend pouring more money into the PC to pursue a higher performance target unless having the bigger number in and if itself is cool to have for you

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

last thing would be the monitor imho, for everything else stall out for as long as you are willing and do it all at once.

pointless to upgrade cpu without doing the gpu too, you can probably do gpu only (?), ram might be ddr5, psu might have new standards etc.

Is that all 10 percent ?!?
I just found a video benchmark actually with a 8700k and a 12900k with a 2080ti and there wasn’t a lot in it, didn’t realise how relevant my cpu still was.

Yeh I’m happy with 100 ish fps for normal gaming and 200 for overwatch/ csgo ect

i do monitor my ram as my pc is set up for strictly gaming and no multi tasking I don’t ever go over 10 gb so I think 16 is fine for me for a while

guess il keep plodding on with it then

sometimes I just get the bug when it come to pcs haha and want something new to play with lol
