So i recently upgraded my work computer to Win11 along with one of my guys to be the guinea pigs.

Everything so far is good and dandy, except Coping and Pasting.

Both of us will randomly have issues with copy paste to where we need to reboot the system for it to work.

We thought it was excel, outlook, or other windows suite of things that were causing it. But yesterday, neither of us opened them and it still happened.

Anyone else having this issue or have a work around?

I've been on 11 for a while and haven't had that issue so far. I've had issues with my Delete key not working from time to time in File Explorer but that's on my personal machine only which is on a beta build so I expect weirdness.

Been on 11 since release on 4 machines, no such weirdness.

Same, three machines here, no issues with copy and paste.

Sounds like third party software you have conflicting compounded by doing an upgrade and not a clean install.

Hard part, there's a lot of "special" software running on mine, his is only 2 months old with nothing "special" yet.

So its both sides of the spectrum that are effected.

I cannot do a clean install as some of the installs are one time things.

No issue here either. Never heard a story like this either. If you use the right-click menu to copy and paste, does it work now? How about Win + V instead of Ctrl+V to paste. Does the clipboard history shows up?

I suspect that it is a software having fun... like a keyboard/mouse driver. Those are fun at parties when they go wild.
