Best GPU to pair with 3700X

Hi all,

 

I was wondering what the best GPU to pair with a 3700X is? I was thinking 2060 super or 2070 super but I am not sure. I am also open to the newest RTX 30 series cards.

if your worried about cpu bottleneck, there won't be one. i have my 3700x paired with a 3080, no bottleneck. i would just go with the best card that fits your needs/budget.

A 3070 because the numbers are the same 🙂

Depends on your screen resolution and FPS/MHZ.

Personally, I think that anything in between a 1080TI and an RTX 3080 is a good fit. So RTX 2070 super, 2080, 2080 super, 2080TI, 3060TI, 3070, 3070TI, Rx 6700xt, Rx 6800, Rx 6800xt. I used to have a 2070 Super on my R7 3700x and it ran a 2K screen ok in AAA titles.

A 2060 super would work too but it's a low end and won't age as well.

Get the best card you can afford.

 

And with GPU prices taking a dump today, today is a VERY good day to get a card.
